This report summarizes the construction progress of the log cabin project at Australian, which is now approaching the topping stage. Since the project started on 2023.6.14, the construction team has completed all key tasks of the lower structure, including foundation reinforcement, log wall assembly of the first and second floors, and installation of load-bearing beams. The main building material, fir logs, has been fully delivered to the site, and the quality of all used materials has passed the inspection of Mr. Norton.
At present, the preparation work for topping is fully completed: the roof truss components have been prefabricated and checked, the waterproof and anti-corrosion treatment of the top log joints has been finished, and the construction equipment and safety protection measures required for topping are in place. It is planned to officially start the topping construction on 2023.6.20, and the entire topping process is expected to take 5 days to complete.
During the subsequent topping construction, the team will strictly follow the design drawings and safety specifications to ensure the accuracy of roof component installation and the stability of the overall structure.
